The promises behind our guides
MamaGLP publishes evidence-based, plain-language GLP-1 guides for moms — in Spanish and English. Here is how we keep them trustworthy.
01Every claim comes from a real source
If we say a medication did something, we back it up with a primary source — peer-reviewed research or the official labeling — and we are careful to separate what a study showed on average from what any one mom should expect for herself.
02Footnotes, not a white coat
The research in our guides is checked against its primary sources before it is published, and those sources travel with the claim: the trial, the PubMed identifier, the line on the FDA label. We do not have a clinical reviewer on the team, and we are not going to invent one — a name you cannot verify is worth less than a source you can open. None of us is your health professional.
03Provider data is a snapshot — dated, and checked again
Prices, the states they serve and features reflect each provider's public information at the moment we looked. Telehealth changes fast, so we re-verify and date our entries — and we always ask you to confirm the current number on the provider's site.
04Rankings do not bend to money
The Mama-Match Score is our editorial judgment, applied the same way to every provider. Affiliate relationships are disclosed across the site and kept out of the scoring, exactly as we explain in our funding disclosure.
05We correct mistakes in the open
When we get something wrong, we fix it soon and leave it noted instead of editing silently. Spotted an error? Please tell us on our contact page.
