Head to head for first-timers
CoreAge Rx vs PreventiveMD
CoreAge Rx and PreventiveMD both offer GLP-1 telehealth, but they make different trade-offs on how gentle the start is, honest pricing, real support and access. Here they are side by side on the Mama-Match Score — our first-timer rubric.

Best for: A mom looking for the lowest real monthly price, and willing to ignore the advertised figure in order to find it.
Visit PreventiveMDThe verdict for a first step
CoreAge Rx edges out PreventiveMD on the Mama-Match Score, 94 to 51 (A vs C). Moms who want a clear, honest first step — a real clinician instead of a questionnaire, a flat price, and the freedom to pause when life needs you to.
PreventiveMD is still a genuine option — this is one of the few cases where the site's own code settles the argument. Every page advertises semaglutide "as low as $83/mo". The function that produces that figure takes each plan, divides the total by the months it covers, and prints the smallest result; and its price list says the twelve-month supply costs $999. Paying month to month it is $119. Which, to be fair, is still cheaper than almost every other provider reviewed here. Weigh the six first-timer factors below against your own priorities.

CoreAge Rx
Rank #1 · Grade A
What we like
- One flat monthly price, with no teaser rate that jumps after the first month — you know the number before you commit
- A clinician reads your history and will genuinely talk timing with you if you're postpartum, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive
- Semaglutide and tirzepatide in one account, so you and a clinician can choose — and switch — without starting over
The caveats
- Not the rock-bottom teaser price — a couple of marketplaces dangle a lower first-month number
- Compounded medication only, not FDA-approved brand-name Ozempic or Wegovy
- A general metabolic program, not a dedicated OB-GYN or hormone consult
Mama-Match
PreventiveMD
Rank #208 · Grade C
What we like
- $119 a month, paying month to month, is among the cheapest on this whole page
- Publishes its prices as data, so every plan can be checked rather than guessed at
- Names the medical group that provides the care in its terms
The caveats
- ⛔ The "$83 a month" is $999 for a year divided by twelve; the monthly price is $119
- ⛔ That same figure goes into the page's structured data as a monthly price, which is what search engines read
- The pricing table is a script: without JavaScript the section only says "Loading pricing"
