Required laboratory tests are also separate. The final prescription charge depends on the medication, pharmacy, payment method and applicable discounts. Ask for the visit cost and the exact dose-specific pharmacy quote before treating the promotion as an affordable ongoing plan.
Cash-pay and insurance paths work differently
On-Demand Care is pay-as-you-go online treatment, designed for people paying cash for care and medication. It does not handle prior authorizations. If you want insurance coverage and live near a One Medical office, scheduled visits may offer an insurance-billable route with lab orders and prior-authorization help. Approval is not guaranteed. An existing One Medical membership does not include On-Demand weight-loss treatments, so membership alone does not remove their visit charges.
