Head to head for first-timers

Queen RX vs ShedRx

Queen RX and ShedRx both offer GLP-1 telehealth, but they make different trade-offs on how gentle the start is, honest pricing, real support and access. Here they are side by side on the Mama-Match Score — our first-timer rubric.

The verdict for a first step

Higher Mama-Match Score: ShedRx

ShedRx edges out Queen RX on the Mama-Match Score, 77 to 70 (C vs C). Moms who want real ongoing support and Spanish-language care, and who don't mind committing for two months.

Queen RX is still a genuine option — clear prices published before the intake, a single charge with no subscription, and a named pharmacy — but you pay for twelve weeks up front before a clinician ever sees you, its own site contradicts itself about which states it serves, and the name promises a women's-health lens its content doesn't deliver. Weigh the six first-timer factors below against your own priorities.

Mama-Match

Queen RX

Rank #22 · Grade C

What we like

  • All four prices are published before the intake, and the semaglutide starter pack works out to about $100 a month
  • It isn't a subscription: one charge, no auto-renewal and no surprise fees
  • The price includes the consult, the prescription, 12 weeks of medication, the syringes and the alcohol wipes

The caveats

  • You pay before a clinician sees you, and it's a full 12 weeks: there is no month-to-month option
  • It contradicts itself about where it operates — its homepage excludes five states and its terms exclude three different ones
  • No Spanish-language care: no site, no intake, not one mention of staff who speak the language

Mama-Match

ShedRx

Rank #17 · Grade C

What we like

  • Prices published per product before intake, with the 1-, 6- and 12-month tiers side by side
  • The entire site exists in Spanish, not just one translated page
  • Health coaching, unlimited provider follow-ups, courses, community and a tracking app all included

The caveats

  • A minimum commitment of two full months: cancelling early doesn't release you from paying them
  • It doesn't publish which states it operates in — the all-50-states claim in circulation could not be verified on its site
  • It shows Wegovy® and Zepbound® as products but doesn't sell them: you buy those separately through LillyDirect or NovoCare
