The $100 buys care; medication costs extra

AskRx may interest someone who wants branded medication and a separate physician-care fee. Its published monthly care charge is $100: $90 for physician services and $10 for fulfillment. The medication is additional, and its cost varies by product and dose. We therefore do not compare that $100 with medication-inclusive programs. For your budget, ask for the complete recurring payment and who collects each part. A smaller consultation headline does not establish a smaller total bill, especially when treatment may continue for months.

Resolve the pharmacy arrangement before paying

The homepage says medication comes through its own pharmacy at cost. The terms instead describe independent manufacturer or retail pharmacies, direct payment to them, and no pharmacy operated by AskRx. This is a meaningful difference in the purchase arrangement. Ask for the dispensing pharmacy’s name, the itemized medication charge, shipping responsibility and the applicable order policy. Keep those answers with your enrollment agreement. We cannot verify a pass-through cost claim from an unpublished drug price. A clear explanation of the $100 service fee does not resolve who will handle your medicine.

Foundayo is not oral tirzepatide

AskRx promotes FDA-approved brands rather than compounded products. However, its Foundayo description calls the product oral tirzepatide. That identification is incorrect: Foundayo contains orforglipron, as the FDA and manufacturer identify it. Do not use the seller’s listed molecule or dose ladder to choose a medicine or change a prescription. Ask the clinician to confirm the exact brand, active ingredient, formulation and instructions. The distinction matters when comparing options: an oral product is not simply an injectable medicine put into a tablet, and each prescription needs its own clinical assessment.

Cancellation stops future care charges

The terms allow cancellation through account settings or support, with access continuing through the paid period. They generally make subscription payments nonrefundable. A request within seven days of the first purchase, before a physician consultation, is discretionary rather than a guaranteed refund. Those service terms do not establish the rules for a pharmacy order. The contract also mentions monthly, quarterly and semiannual subscriptions, while the public offer emphasizes monthly care. Confirm the selected payment interval and amount due upfront. Do not assume that a monthly equivalent means you can recover unused prepaid months.

A useful shortlist option with questions to settle

The site advertises physicians across all 50 states, monthly dose planning and messaging; video visits are described as available in select states. These are published service claims, not response times or licenses we independently tested. Ask which clinician will manage your care and how to obtain help when messaging is insufficient.
