The lowest headline requires a package and membership

Shapely’s $99 semaglutide headline refers to a $297 three-month drug package. The $166 tirzepatide headline refers to a $498 starter package. Both require separate membership. A standard self-pay membership costs $99 per month, with $49 advertised for the first month. These package figures cannot describe a complete monthly treatment bill. Look at the medication’s individual-month table when comparing a plan without a three-month drug payment.

Individual-month totals depend on dose

Semaglutide costs $139 for low-mid doses or $179 for high doses, before membership. Adding standard $99 care gives $238 or $278 per month. Tirzepatide costs $249 or $299 before membership, giving $348 or $398. Shipping and injection supplies are included in the medication price. Labs are excluded; Shapely advertises a $75 self-pay laboratory option. Confirm your prescribed dose, because the cheaper tier does not establish your maintenance cost.

Insurance help is valuable only with your actual benefits

Shapely describes video visits, app messaging, insurance coordination and dietitian access in its insurance program. Visit cost-sharing, drug coverage and membership still need separate answers. The published $25 typical commercial medication copay is not a guaranteed offer for your prescription. Brands and compounded prescriptions follow different payment paths: compounded options are self-pay, while brand eligibility and prior authorization depend on clinical circumstances and your insurer. Do not interpret insurer logos as approval of your treatment.

Monthly cancellation does not refund part of a month

The recurring-payment consent says the membership renews each month unless canceled before the current period ends. You can request cancellation by email or phone, with access ending at period end. Partial service months are nonrefundable. That policy addresses membership; it does not establish a refund for an already purchased three-month medication package. Ask about the drug order separately before choosing a discount that commits more money upfront.

Four published states and an unresolved maternal pathway

The current FAQ lists adults in California, Florida, New York and Texas, with nationwide expansion described as future. It does not establish a nursing or specialist postpartum pathway. The service may suit someone in a listed state who wants scheduled video care and can confirm maternal eligibility directly. Pharmacy descriptions are company claims, not independent verification of your assigned pharmacy. Compare other reviews if wider coverage or a simpler bundled bill would make starting easier.
