Noom Med vs Zealthy
Noom Med and Zealthy both offer GLP-1 telehealth, but they make different trade-offs on how gentle the start is, honest pricing, real support and access. Here they are side by side on the Mama-Match Score — our first-timer rubric.

Visit ZealthyThe verdict for a first step
Noom Med edges out Zealthy on the Mama-Match Score, 77 to 39 (C vs C). Moms who already trust Noom's coaching style and want habits alongside the medication, and don't mind not knowing the exact molecule or the full monthly cost until they're in the process.
Zealthy is still a genuine option — ⛔ FDA warning letter #716501 (Sept. 2025) and, in April 2026, the FTC and DOJ moved to seize the company and freeze its assets. Read that first. Weigh the six first-timer factors below against your own priorities.

Noom Med
Rank #25 · Grade C
What we like
- Care is mostly asynchronous per Noom's own information — no camera appointment needed on most plans
- Built-in behavior-change coaching, from a brand many moms already use
- Aims for FDA-approved brand-name medication (Wegovy/Zepbound/Ozempic/Mounjaro) with insurance help on the telehealth track
The caveats
- None of the three compounded plans say which molecule (semaglutide or tirzepatide) they include — a real gap in Noom's own disclosure
- The $39/$99 fee on the brand-name track is the clinician charge only; medication cost is separate and depends on insurance
- Billed quarterly after the first supply, so a monthly-sounding price is really a 3-month commitment

Zealthy
Rank #293 · Grade C
What we like
- Low, published monthly pricing for semaglutide and tirzepatide
- Coverage in most states with a fast, low-friction signup
- Straightforward compounded model — you see the cost before you commit
The caveats
- ⛔ FDA warning letter #716501, dated September 9, 2025, to FitRX, LLC dba Zealthy, for unlawful sale of unapproved and misbranded drugs over the internet — the letter names its own site
- April 2026: the FTC and DOJ asked a federal court to place Zealthy in receivership and freeze its assets, alleging deceptive disclosures, obstructive cancellation and review manipulation
- The same complaint alleges misuse of clinicians' NPI numbers to issue prescriptions without their knowledge or consent — the government's words are that Zealthy is "actively deceiving telehealth patients, endangering their safety, and raiding their bank accounts". These are allegations, not findings; the case is ongoing
